Last updated: 28 February 2026

Disclaimer: These terms are an implementation baseline produced during development. They should be reviewed and approved by qualified legal counsel before the service is made available to real users.

1. Service description

The CPD of CPDs is a web-based application that enables UK regulated professionals to log Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities, attach evidence, and export audit-ready reports for regulatory body submission.

By creating an account and using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

3. Account responsibilities and credential security

As an account holder you agree to:

4. Acceptable use

You may use the service only for lawful CPD tracking purposes. You must not:

5. Billing and subscriptions

The service is currently in development and is available without charge during this phase. Paid subscription tiers will be introduced in a future release.

When billing is activated, payment will be processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider (Stripe). Subscription pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions will be clearly communicated before any charge is applied.

You will never be charged without explicit agreement to a paid plan. This section will be updated in full when billing features are released.

6. Service availability and changes

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances outside our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where feasible, we will provide reasonable advance notice of significant changes.

Feature changes that affect how your CPD data is stored or exported will be communicated by email to the address registered to your account.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of CPD records, or professional consequences arising from regulatory submission based on exported reports.

The service is provided as a record-keeping tool. We do not verify the accuracy of CPD records you enter, nor do we guarantee that reports generated will meet the specific requirements of any particular professional regulatory body.

Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Termination and account closure

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon closure, your CPD records and personal data will be scheduled for deletion in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or are misusing the service.

On termination, any export of your data must be completed before account closure as data becomes inaccessible once deletion is scheduled.
